Cargo length needs a seat context
Nissan’s October 2012 engineering article describes 3,050 mm cargo length for the long-body van with two front seats occupied. This is a loading configuration, not a universal interior dimension.

Designed for empty and laden use
The long-body NV350 gained 140 mm of wheelbase over its predecessor. Nissan describes softer initial leaf-spring action for the empty vehicle and stronger subsequent leaves for laden use.

The diesel development
Nissan describes the YD25DDTi diesel development through revised turbo characteristics, higher common-rail injection pressure and smaller injector holes.
