Honda / Japan / retained manufacturer source

N BOX normal GFF · CVT with torque converter

One normal G configuration, read from Honda’s retained Japanese specification table. Use the source facts with their limits when researching an individual car.

Source reference · no stock implied

A precise source reference.

Technical period: UNKNOWN. The archive information is current as of November 2012. That date describes the retained source; it does not establish an individual model year, complete generation interval or production period.

The selected column is the normal N BOX G: four seats, Honda DBA-JF1, S07A regular petrol, front-wheel drive (FF), and a continuously variable automatic transmission with torque converter. The normal table and G/FF column are part of the identity; the DBA-JF1 code by itself does not distinguish normal N BOX from Custom.

Source reference: Honda archive information as of November 2012, normal N BOX G with front-wheel drive. The precise technical period remains UNKNOWN. These descriptions do not confirm condition, working order or optional equipment on an individual car, and do not extend to 4WD, Custom, turbo or L Package versions.

Navigation-installation special package only: Honda gives separate conditional figures of 1,780 mm height and 940 kg manufacturer vehicle mass when this manufacturer package is fitted. The base figures remain 1,770 mm and 930 kg. This is not a generic range or a maximum with all options; 940 kg is not gross vehicle mass or payload. Actual option fitment remains UNKNOWN.

Read the table in context.

This page covers the upper white-header normal N BOX table, G grade, first FF column, on PDF page 1. It does not extend those facts to Custom, 4WD, L package, turbo variants or a full generation. Formal model and generation binding remain UNKNOWN.

Manufacturer source and evidence limits

This reference uses page 1 of Honda’s retained specification PDF: the upper white-header normal N BOX table, G grade, first FF column. Honda DBA-JF1 alone does not distinguish the normal model from Custom. Adjacent 4WD and L package columns, the lower Custom table and turbo variants are outside this reference.

The unbracketed base figures are 1,770 mm height and 930 kg manufacturer vehicle mass. Only when the manufacturer navigation-installation special package is fitted do the separate figures become 1,780 mm and 940 kg. These conditional figures are not a generic range, gross vehicle mass, payload or a maximum with all options. Actual option fitment and the measured mass of an individual vehicle remain UNKNOWN.

  • Technical period, model year, production start and end, and exact dates of technical effectivity remain UNKNOWN.
  • The archive says its information is current as of November 2012. Its labels say announced November 2011 and ended-model November 2012. The retained PDF metadata is dated May 2012. These are source-context dates, not a model year or a full generation interval.
  • Formal model and generation identity remain UNKNOWN. This source reference does not bind to the later 2017 or 2023 N-BOX directory entries or to N-VAN.
  • The transmission is a CVT with torque converter. Its internal assembly code and supplier remain UNKNOWN.
  • UK legal kerb-mass equivalence, gross vehicle mass and payload remain UNKNOWN.
  • The source explicitly identifies the engine figures as NET: 43 kW [58 PS] at 7,300 rpm and 65 N·m at 3,500 rpm. PS is retained. A named JIS, ECE, SAE or DIN rating standard and any bhp conversion remain UNKNOWN.
