Honda Civic Type R

One red badge. Many ways to feel it.

Start with the generation. EK9 and EP3 lead into two distinct third-generation shapes: FD2 and FN2. Then come FK2, FK8 and FL5. A Civic with Type R styling is not automatically a factory Type R.

Recognise the era

Start with the right generation.

Honda counts six Civic Type R generations. FD2 and FN2 are market variants of the third generation; FN2 reached Europe in 2007 and Japan as Type R EURO in 2009.
